JARLATH DALY (IRISH B.1956)
Jarlath Daly is an Irish sculptor who sculpts in bronze. His sculpture reflects public attitudes, local themes and legends, sport and of course history at both the local and the epic. He is also inspired by nature and childhood memories. His work ranges in scale from 10 inches to 30 feet.
For his sculptures, Jarlath uses the traditional casting system of cire perdue or lost wax.

1890-1922Aide-de-Camp to Count Plunkett in the GPO, Collins fought alongside Padraig Pearse and James Connolly.
Collins later became Irish Republican Brotherhood President and Minister for Finance for the First Dáil (Irish parliament) in 1919.Collins played a main role in the War of Independence (19191921) and was Chairman of the new Irish Free State Provisional Government. He was head of the Irish army when shot by Anti-Treaty forces at Béal na mBláth, Co. Cork in 1922.
