John Skelton 1923 – 2009.
Originally born in Co. Armagh John eventually settled in Dublin and practiced as a lecturer, commercial artist and book illustrator.
John has held several one-man shows in Dublin, Belfast and throughout Ireland and has exhibited regularly at the R. H. A., Irish Living Art and the Watercolor Society of Ireland.
John Skelton’s artwork also features in numerous private collections in Ireland and abroad and is much loved for his depictions of Ireland in days gone by.
